It's one of the most important things in an office, other than your patients care of-course, infection control.... the maintenance and logging of everything that is done in your office. There has been many disputes among professionals that I have seen over this - so let's have a page where it lays it out for you. You can print it, have proof and I am currently working on an updated infection control manual that I am going to keep in my office incase of recall or errors in the practice place.
Which can happen anywhere.
Our standards in the dental office are more intense than those in a hospital, so you can imagine the amount of work and documentation that will come with having, managing and the responsibility it takes to be apart of your dental office.
IPAC SURVEY RESULTS 2019:

First things first, we believe it's important that everyone, even people not playing a vital role... have an idea of how the sterilization area works and all the components involved - knowing that there is an intensive amount of effort, time and work that goes into maintaining it. We don't just throw our instruments in a sink and they magically get sterilized.
^The link above has great modules/course you and your office can complete and print the certificates and keep in a binder in the office for infection control!
*You'll have to make a log-in to keep track of your progress - Look for the Title listed below & start the modules provided - you will get a certificate for each module!
